This concert will reprise the a cappella items from our summer concert, with violin and organ solos and some additional choral favourites. The programme is below, and there will be no interval.

Celebrate Christmas with the Byrds as we tackle Christmas music ancient and modern from around Europe and beyond!
Programme to include:
Poulenc - Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël
Cecilia McDowall - Christus natus est (A Cantata for Christmas)
Mathias - Ave Rex, Op. 45
Plus an assortment of carols (including new arrangements), to which the audience are invited to join their voices.

In our Spring concert we showcase German and Italian choral music with some of the best known works in those traditions -- and some hidden gems!

Bruckner - Christus factus est

Plus intrumental and vocal solos from the choir exploring the theme further.
